“I was inspired by the movie « Che? » and the memories from my childhood. Back in the 90’s we used to go to a familial villa in the South of France, it was gorgeous. But despite the sun and the pool I sometimes felt trapped. I wanted to talk about that dual feeling by celebrating summer and showing feminine characters locked in a house as they can be in their body and mind, oscillating between pleasure and distress. ”
